How Can breathlessness And Chest Pain Be Treated?

When I lie down at night my chest starts to hurt. I m ok during the day but at night when I m in bed my chest start to pain. I m not short of breath. Last night I noticed that the pains are getting worst and lasting longer. Could this be a respiratory infection?

It is more likely to be an upper Gastro intestinal tract involvement I think. When you lie down, the diaphragm is pushed upwards as at the abdominal organs. So just try not to sleep just immediately after a heavy meal. Wait in partly recumbent posture for some time. Don't dink too much water just before lying down. If it's still a problem, try chewing a Moxal or Digene tablet and lie down again.
